Plum Butter (Povidla)

Crafted from the sweetest, beautifully ripe plums and just a tiny pinch of sugar, our plum butter, or povidla, truly smells of autumn. It's wonderfully dark, sweet, and subtly tart, excellent on its own, spread on bread, or as a filling for pastries.

MarmeLinda's Plum Butter feels as though autumn itself simmered it for you. Because we add almost no sugar, we wait for only the ripest plums, which contain enough of their natural sweetness. What's more, we don't need to add a single speck of pectin, as the fruit, slowly cooked down to remove excess water, achieves a perfect consistency. The result is a delicious, pure taste of ripe fruit.
